Florence Mytum (b. 1993, York) lives and works in London, with a practice that hovers between painting, sculpture and site-specific installation. Her physical use of materials explores how art can be used to express the ineffable, breaking down cultural and sensory hierarchies. She has just completed her MA at the Slade School of Fine Art and has recently exhibited in, Picnic at Subsidiary projects and 31 Celsius at ASC Gallery with upcoming shows including Girls Just Wanna Have Fun at Unit 3 Gallery. She is currently Artist in Residence at the Slade Summer School and last year she completed a residency with TFAC at the Griffin Gallery.
